A night out!

Tonight Ray's mom watched the kiddo's while we went to a movie! We saw Transformers 2 and it was VERY good, we both loved it! It was great to go out on a date for the first time in quite some time. Ray has terrible poison ivy right now and had to go to the Dr. today to get a steriod shot to stop the irritation and try to manage the itching and so on...He'll also have some time off work now because of it too.

Here is No on his way to Nanna's...he looked so cute and grown up, I had to get a picture!

Ray and I before our date, at his Mom's house...

It's always weird when the kids aren't in the car! lol We keep thinking we'll hear them, even though we know they aren't there! :o)

Just a side note:

I got these for my stove and am excited...wanted to share! :o)
Sorry the picture stinks, I took it from my cell.

Time with cousins...

It's been a while since we've seen Seth, Owen, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Jodi, so we went over there this weekend for a playdate! The kids all had so much fun and Nanna and Paw Paw drove out just to see them all play at the pool! They had slides and the kids LOVED them! Even Raylan went down by herself, because the water wasn't over a foot deep in the deepest of parts. After the pool time, we went back for sandwhiches and ice cream for lunch. It was great to see Seth and Noah play, they love each other so much and always have a great time and play SO well together. Our little baby Owen has gotten so big too, he's now six months and quite the little flirt and VERY handsome!

She kept bringing me water! haha

lol him and the goggles crack me up!

Raylan going down by herself.

She loves the boys...she has to be doing what they are, nearly all the time!

Beautiful baby Owen!

While we were gone yesterday, I had roast cooking in the crock pot...it was really good and apparently the cat agreed...I caught him eating it while I was doing dishes after dinner!

Poppy Tarties

Well, I gave Noah and Raylan pop tarts for the first time this morning. Noah called them Poppy Tarties....hehe It was too cute, then he said, "Mommy, these are all my life"! The boy is hilarious! Last night when I told him it was time to eat the Gumbo, he called it soup and said it was, "Soupy soup time"!

Fun with friends

Tiffany, Ryan, Logan and Addie came over today to play before Ray went to work. We had fun and ate hot dogs, but Ray had to leave and Ryan had to go to an appointment, so in the afternoon, I drove out to Tiffany's and we took the kids swimming. They loved her pool and Ryan brought up a pizza, so they were in heaven!

Hair cut, time with friends and fun around the house!

It was a busy day at our house! Ray has been working a lot and then sleeping during the day, so we aren't seeing so much of him and that stinks, but we appreciate all the hard work he does for us!
Noah needed a hair cut today, so we went to do that and then met our friends Tiffy, Logan and Addie for some shopping. While we were at Cool Cuts for Kids, Noah had to go potty and their bathroom was out of order, soooo lucky him, he got to go to Starbucks and use theirs. This meant a drink and he LOVES that place! He and Raylan both got a vanilla milk, which is so cute, because they pump a little vanilla syrup into their cups of milk and they think it's coffee and feel soooo super special! Then Raylan got new shoes at Target, because she has outgrown all her old sandals...it seems she has jumped about 2 sizes in the past couple months or so. She is now in a size 7, comfortably, at the age of 20 months! The girl is growing so fast! She is also in a size 2t already for clothes. I thought I'd just get the shoes big to accomadate her square foot, but to my surprise, they fit in length too! Ugh, they grow so fast!

The cool man's new "do"!
Miss thing with her WILD hair (from her car seat) and her new shoes! :o) These aren't the only ones she got, but they were so cute! She needed white ones for her little sun dresses!

Beautiful girl! We had just watered the front yard, so everyone was very hot! It's been over 100 degrees here for the past week or more!

Tonight they played Candyland before dinner...Noah LOVES this game, thanks to his good pal Logan!

Always with the crazy faces...lol

She was making her carebear slide down her blanket! We have put in a request to Nanny for more of these little bears! I think she needs these instead of the ol' counting bears...she just loves them so much and carries them ALLL over!

I made gumbo for dinner and it was the first time the kids have ever REALLY eaten it. They both LOVED it and were a complete mess afterward...lol

After her bath, she wanted to try on my shoes! :o)

It's been a great day, very busy, but lots of fun with our friends and at home this evening...we miss Daddy so much! Right now the kids are watching Ni hao Kai-lan (sisters favorite! She has learned quite a few words in chinese because of this show!) and then they are off to bed!

Goofy cousins and a playdate with the Jones'

This morning...all three kiddo's started off with their drinks...lol like adults and coffee, they are with their milk!

Addie and Raylan playing with their necklaces and books...soon after this, they played with the tea set and had their tea! They are too cute and Raylan gets so excited when she gets to see Addie, "ADDIE ADDIE" she says!:o)

Boy's and their trucks! hehe They had lots of fun too!
One big movie watching slumber party! They wouldn't sit still, my kids wanted to play and not watch a movie and Addie wanted to be wherever her brother was! Soon our guests left so everyone could take a nap...they were VERY sleepy, ALL of them!
Like I said...VERY tired!
Yes, he has girl sheets on his bed, he had an accident and I had to wash his! :o) The kids were so cute...they both put themselves down for naps while I watched a movie. I wasn't going to lay them down, because I wanted them to sleep tonight. Raylan laid down first and Noah second, when he laid down she woke and he slept. I woke him up and we ate pizza for dinner...
As a reward for eating their dinner, they had a brownie... this face is what Raylan does when you tell her to smile! haha
Little Miss, eating her brownie!
And our little man eating his!
:o)
